hiyomi circle 2015年度版カレンダーに加え、過去のカレンダー、各作家のオリジナル作品も合わせて展示いたします。hiyomi circle カレンダーはオフセット印刷をベースに、シルクスクリーン、油性木版、スタンプ、ステンシルなどの版画技法を用い、デザイン、紙の質感、印刷にこだわったハンドメイドのカレンダーで、2015年度版は壁掛けタイプ(A3サイズ100部限定)と卓上タイプ(10×19cm)の２種類で、共に美術作品のクオリティーを廉価でお楽しみ頂けるカレンダーです。また各作家が個々に制作しています作品、これまでのカレンダー(2011-2014)も合わせて展示いたします。

 ＊会期中の11月7日(金)ー16日(日)の10日間、生駒宝山寺参道エリア旧たき万旅館におきまして「奈良・町家の芸術祭 はならぁと こあ C.C.G.F」が開催されております。ウェブサイト内ENGLISHページの翻訳を担当しました。

In this exhibition, we will show 2015 calendars produced by a printmaking group "hiyomi circle",which was formed in 2009 and has been collaborating to produce handmade calendars every year since 2010. Also, we will present the art works created by each member of the group - KIRIZUKI Saki,DOUOU Yuka,MIYATA Yukino and YOSHIKI Marie, all of whom are the graduates of Kyoto City University of Art and Music,Japan.

Also,in the Hozanji area near the gallery, you can enjoy an art festival "CCGF(Creator Creature Gathering Festival)"-HANAART 2014 in IKOMA, during 7th - 16th Nov.

[hiyomi circle] : 京都市立芸術大学版画専攻出身の４名(桐月沙樹、堂東由佳、宮田雪乃、芳木麻里絵)で2009年に結成されたカレンダー作成ユニット。紙の質感、印刷、デザイン等にこだわったカレンダーを毎年制作。

水野正彦(1983年広島県生まれ)による展覧会を開催致します。京都市立芸大大学院版画修了後の展覧会としましては初の個展になります。

在学中には絵画、シルクスクリーン版画等の平面作品の制作を中心に学びましたが、現在は手描きの際に残る手癖や筆圧などの私性が現れる手法からは離れ、街中に見られるグラフィティーなど既存のイメージを写真に撮り、発砲スチロールの版におこすという手法へのアプローチを試みております。写真をもとにした発砲スチロールの立体の版、版により形成された石膏のような質感をもつ紙粘土の立体作品、版を用いて画用紙に印刷された平面作品。ネガとポジ、凹と凸、マルチプルとユニークピースなどの相互関係への再考察を促すかのようなバリエーション豊かな作品展示をお楽しみ頂ければと存じます。

GALLERY IND. is pleased to announce the solo exhibition by MIZUNO Masahiko(b.1983). Having learned and mastered the techniques of painting and printmaking, he has gradually proceeded to apply such methods or materials as are not usually designed for use in creating artpieces. Now he mainly uses stylofoam as his printingblocks instead of such popular ones as woodplate, copperplate or silkscreen etc. In this exhibition, he will present three variations of his pieces ; printblocks of stylofoam, clayworks molded out of them, and  sheets of paper printed with them. We hope you enjoyed the unique details and texture his works take on.

<作家ステートメント>

残骸のようなものを作りたい。そんな衝動が強くなってきました。

版画を学んだ私には「残骸のような版画」、と言ったところでしょうか。

世の中に点在する忘れかけられたイメージ。街角の落書きやゴミ、朽ちた看板。それらを頼りに、その一部を切り取り、別の素材に移し替えていくことで本来の役割を奪い、自らの作品として仕上げていくことで作品を作ってきました。

何かを万引きしたような多少の罪悪感から版（時には自分自身が版なのだと思い込む）の力を借りることで解放され、作られたものたち。残骸のような固まりがそこにあればいい。

I feel a stronger impulse than before to make something like debris. Since I've learned printmaking, I'd rather call or name it a block print. There are a lot of images scattered about in the world which are all but forgottenーgraffiti covered up on the street corners, decayed signboards in messy places and so on. By cutting out some parts of those images from their original places, transfering them to other places or onto other materials, I might be depriving them of the meanings or roles they once had. With the help of block, I can feel liberated from such a sense of guilt as if I were shoplifting, and can proceed further to create something. GALLERY IND.では2010年以来３回目となります、井上隆広による個展を開催致します。今回の展示では、2012年より井上が手掛けますハンドメイドの木工ブランドMAME's FACTORYとしての作品を中心に発表致します。

京都の木工所でのオーダーメイド家具、什器の製作を行う中で磨かれてきた技術、これまで美術作家として制作してきた木工用ボンド等を使用した美術作品のコンセプトやテイスト、その双方を合わせ持つ製品／作品の魅力を感じ取って頂ければ幸いです。

尚、同時期開催(6月18日−24日の日程)で、生駒駅前図書室でも井上隆広個展を開催致しておりますので、合わせてご高覧のほど宜しくお願い申し上げます。

GALLERY IND. is pleased to announce the woodwork exhibition by INOUE Takahiro under the name of MAME's FACTORY. The artist is quite familiar with craftworking materials,especially with wood because he has grown up in carpentry surroundings. So far, he has created a lot of unique pieces of wood,and in addition to such works, he will try to experiment with transparent materials and objects such as resin, marbles, mirrors and so on in this exhibition. I hope you enjoyed his wonderworks, which come from an artisanry and artistic background. 

 

作家ステートメント

MAME's FACTORY (マメズファクトリー) : おもちゃのような楽器のようなあたたかいコーヒーのような木工製品を一点一点ハンドメイドで手掛けています。木材の特徴を生かしつつ、積極的に木材以外の素材と組み合わせて既成の形にとらわれない木工製品を製作するように心掛けています。

今回の展覧会 "toumeitasuki" では透明な素材と木を組み合わせた作品を展示します。乾燥した木工ボンドを張り付けた姿見。指ではじくとコロコロ回るビー玉を仕込んだテーブル、家の形をくり抜いてそこに樹脂を流し込んだハンガーなど。

見た目もそうですが、なにより手触りを大切にしています。ギャラリーでは是非作品を手にとって楽しんで頂けたらと思います。

作家紹介

井上隆広 : 1979年生まれ。2006年京都造形芸術大学芸術学部情報デザイン学科卒業。現在、京都の木工所にてディスプレイ什器、オーダーメイド家具を製作。GALLERY IND.での個展は、

2008年"Shadow of Husk"、2010年"FIELDMAP"。2012年にMAME's FACTORY というオリジナルブランドを立ち上げ、個人での制作活動も行っている。2012年にMAME's FACTORYとしての個展を京都きさら堂にて開催。

I've ever made a unique piece of wood mainly for individual use. In the process of creating something,

I'm always trying to give it such a gentle feel as we experience when we are playing with toys,touching musical instruments, or relaxing with a cup of hot coffee. Also,I'm attempting to add some organic texture to the surface of wood by uniting it with another material or object, so as to make it assume a different aspect it originally has. In this exhibition, I will combine wooden pieces together with various objectsーwooden tables with marbles,wooden hangers with resin,mirrors on wood with adhesive, and so on. I'd like you to freely touch the works I'll present, because I think how they feel as well as how they look is very important to me.

 本展覧会は堂東由佳によるシルクスクリーン作品の個展となります。GALLERY IND.では「呑気な時間...,嫌な予感」「予備に」に続く三回目の展示となります。

これまでは、細かく描かれたネコ、蝶、おにぎりなどがキャラクター化されたドローイングをもとに、それらをパソコン上で集積、再配置しパターンを反復、密集させたものが中心でしたが、今回はそれらのイメージを画面上に点在させ、余白を多くとった新作をより多く展示しております。滑稽で、可愛らしく、また時に不気味さをも醸し出す作品を是非ご高覧いただければと存じます。また、KUMAUHEIWORKSとのコラボレーションによるペーパークラフト仕様の作品も展示しておりますので合わせてお楽しみ下さい。

GALLERY IND. is pleased to announce the silkscreen exhibition by DOUTOU Yuka. The artist often brings into her works the images of highly characterized cats,butterflies,riceballs and so on.Originally drawn by hand, and then processed by pc, those images are contorted and the multiple combinations of them will give us a feeling of funniness,loveliness,or even a little eeriness. The title of the exhibition"point" also involves multiple meanings,such as "to guess the right point" in the process of printmaking,"ink-dot" or "stain" on paper, "a particular time or place" that some event is hold,etc. We'd like you to come to freely enjoy the association of the art pieces  with such words or phrases.
